Is TakeBack Quit available?
Yes. The Android app is available free on the Play Store. The tools and the challenge on this site are usable immediately too.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not today. The first release targets Android. An iOS version is under consideration, with no date.
Which languages?
French, English and Spanish, with sixteen currencies for the savings calculation.
When will Reset, Together, Sober, Bet, Focus and Calm ship?
No date is announced. They will ship once the first app has proved itself. The matching pages on this site are already useful without them.
Money
Are the site tools really free?
Yes, with no account and no usage limit. The maths runs in your browser.
How much will Premium cost?
€9.99 per month or €49.99 per year, after a seven-day free trial. Twelve months of the monthly plan would cost €119.88, so the yearly plan represents 58% saving over the same period.
Can I pay today?
No. In-app purchases are not wired up and no payment method is collected on this site.
Your data
Are there ads?
None, neither on the site nor in the apps. The advertising-ID permission is stripped from the installed Android package.
Is my data resold?
No. It is neither sold nor shared for advertising purposes.
What happens if I delete my account?
The associated data is erased, server included. The procedure is described on the account deletion page, reachable without installing the app.
Does the site use cookies?
No advertising cookie, no third-party tracker. One technical cookie remembers your language choice if you change it.
Health
Is it a medical device?
No. TakeBack Quit provides no medical advice, makes no diagnosis and prescribes nothing.
Where do the health milestones come from?
From identified and cited public sources, notably the US and UK public health authorities. They are population averages, given for information.
Can I use the app alongside nicotine replacements?
Yes. The tracking works identically. Choosing a replacement is, however, a matter for your doctor or pharmacist.
Is the app suitable for minors?
No. Our apps are not intended for minors.
