Delete your account and data
This page explains how to delete your TakeBack account and all associated data. It is reachable without installing the app, as Google requires in the Data safety form.
From the app
Open TakeBack Quit.
Go to Settings, then Account.
Tap "Delete my account".
Confirm. Erasure is immediate and permanent.
Without the app
Write to shamal0x110@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion". If your account is anonymous and linked to no address, give the identifier shown in Settings, then Account.
Requests are handled within 30 days at most, and usually within a few working days. A confirmation is sent once erasure is complete.
What is deleted
- Your consumption profile and your settings.
- Your streak history and your best streak.
- All your logged cravings, with their free notes.
- Your savings goals and your progress.
- The account itself, and the Google link if there was one.
The seven-day challenge data on this site depends on no account: it lives in your browser and is erased with the "reset" button on the challenge page, or by clearing the site data.
